About Us
Junonia Duo is composed of two cellists who have studied cello for over 20 years combined. Both study with Lisa Liske-Doorandish, and have experience playing in many different venues for many different events.
Reilly Blackwell
Reilly has been performing in the New River Valley and Roanoke areas since 2011, when she was a founding member of Junonia Cello Quartet, and has five years of teaching and performance experience. She currently teaches and performs in Roanoke and Blacksburg and is featured on an upcoming record with the Great American Drone Orchestra. She works as a writer and childcare professional outside of her work with the cello.
Hank Skutt
Hank has been playing cello in the New River Valley since the age of 5. He began performing alongside Reilly as one of the four founding members of Junonia Cello Quartet. He has been involved in the Roanoke Youth Symphony Orchestra, and has competed and placed in 3 competitions. He has accompanied young cellists from his cello studio, and has performed with small ensemble, harpsichord, chamber, choir and orchestra. Outside of cello, Hank plays basketball and is a leader of his youth group.
